The Cloud Lifts
The cloud lifts from me, not Southern California as the rain continues to drench our scarred and dry soil. I am happy to say I am feeling better today. The one good thing about chemo (well, besides all that cancer killing), is that I do indeed know there is an end in sight to the major side-effects. I don't even need Tylenol to deal with the aches and pains today. My energy is returning too. This round was tough, but not a knock-out or even a TKO thanks to the encouragement and support of so many amazing people around me. I am rebounding and my strength is definitely building for the last treatment on November 4th. Like the rain rejuvenating our earth, the abundance of support and encouragement rejuventates me and carries me into the next season.

This is my story about being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39. I thought I was out of the woods, but four years late it came back. This is my quest to be a two-time survivor.
