Shameless Self Promotion
For a while now I have been collaborating with a medical website by contributing articles on breast cancer from the patient’s perspective. Recently we have started a series of articles on breast cancer and the unique issues that young women face with this diagnosis. The first article in this series was an overview of this topic and the most recent article addresses infertility after treatment. This topic weighed especially heavy on my heart as evident from this piece written shortly after treatment.

I invite you to visit My Breast Cancer Network. It’s part of the Health Central Network. I am so excited that they decided to devote resources to young women and I am proud of my association with this venture. Check the site often because more information for young women will be coming soon!

This is my story about being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39. I thought I was out of the woods, but four years late it came back. This is my quest to be a two-time survivor.
