I am saddened at the passing of one of my dearest friends, Lori. Lori was an amazing and brave young woman who faced cancer bravely and defiantly. She and her husband, Cary, left no stone unturned trying every traditional and alternative approach to fighting cancer. Although the majority of their marriage was spent battling Lori’s disease, their story is not about cancer, but about enduring, pure, unconditional love. Nothing can destroy that, not even cancer.I will miss you, sweet Lori.
