Next Step
Yeah!  My doctor has determined that my incision has finally healed and I am ready for the next step.  On Monday I will have outpatient surgery for a sentinal lymph node biopsy and insertion of the groshong catheter for my upcoming chemotherapy.  Of course the idea of having radioactive fluid injected into me is not exciting, but I am excited to get moving and get on with this.  Knowing whether or not the cancer is detected in the lymph nodes is important.  I also get a week off from work to recuperate and heal.  Expect a lot of posts next week.  I'm sure I'll be bored by Wednesday.  All good thoughts....

This is my story about being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39. I thought I was out of the woods, but four years late it came back. This is my quest to be a two-time survivor.
